But the other day I had a shadow and my eye started to go so I let my wife know that a hit was about to happen and I would take some time to chill for a while
well a hour later she came down and told me dinner was ready and did I feel like eating ?
she had made a very hot curry for dinner (now I normally have  vhot chillies etc)but this was a good one
I ate and had 2 beers thinking I wouldnt be able to do anything else that night still waiting for the hit to happen when I realised that the shadow had gone completly couldnt figure out what had happened when my wife tells me she has been researching CH
and had figured that vhot currys or chillies should be able to stop or reduce the hits (go figure)!!!!
we will be trying it again as soon as the next shadow happens  has this been tried befor ????

Hot stuff can turn down the pain, sometimes abort or prevent - but it isn't a magic bullet. I am surprised that you could drink 2 beers without getting hit - hot spices are powerful, but so is the beast.

The turmeric in a curry may also have some beneficial effects - from changing calcium metabolism to blocking the aryl hydrocarbon receptor.

In any case, keep trying it if it works. And keep us posted.

You gonna share the recipe? Was it a Madras? Vindaloo? Biriyani?

The outer boundary of what we currently believe is feasible is far short of what we actually must do.
