My husband has discovered Vicks under the nose has helped with the Shadows. Also a bath with Village Naturals Therapy mineral bath soak for aches and pains has worked as well.

When I have the shadows that just won't go away, I find anything that helps me relax helps with the shadows. I'm notorious for "bunching" up my shoulders when I'm getting shadowed in anticipation of a hit. Logically I know it's the dumbest thing in the world but when it comes to CH I've never been real good at applying logic! Grin

I use a product called "pain a trait" made by melaluca, it smells similar, and it's real warm.  I spread it all around my hair line and then a thin line on the top of my cheeks on on my nose.  I don't know if it helps me or distracts me, but I use it at night before I go to sleep and it soothes.

Wish it, dream it, do it - inspite the pain!

Hmm, mum bought me this product titled "Headache cream", which is apparently helping migraine sufferers. It has similar ingredients than the vicks I have in mind and one is supposed to spread this cream to temple, neck and forehead. Based on what you wrote, the next time I get hit I might actually give it a go. Smiley
