weird cycle.. New moon to New moon

My Cycle started on the night of October 11 and ended on  December 9.  New moon to the new moon....weird

I was trying to figure out when I might be out of my cycle and was looking at the calender when i noticed.  I counted ahead around 8 weeks and saw that its around the same time as the next new moon.  I thought it would be "weird" and fitting to end my cycle on this day, considering how "peculiar" these darn ch's can be.  Well, wouldn't you know it, my last ch hit on that night!  I haven't had one since ( knock on wood).

BTW Im still on my topamax.  Im tapering down now and will be off by the 1st of jan.  Before this last headache I was getting 1-3 a night, even with my meds.  Since that night I've only had one day with bad shadows.
I have other days where Im just sleepy and have minor pain but i think its from my meds and the melatonin.  I can't wait to get off of these meds.

I really hope its over and its not just my meds FINALLY working.  wouldn't that be something.  I guess I'll find out
-reg   Wink.  I plan on doing the "beer test" on new years eve!  I hope it's over.  Thanks for all the help everyone....this site is the BEST!!!

That's an interesting cycle.  Are you Romanian, or of Romanian ancestry, perhaps?   Wink

I hope your beer test goes well.  I guess not having alcohol as a trigger is the one blessing of being chronic, although I'd like to know what it's like to go out of cycle.  Enjoy your pain free days!

Where did you hear that alcohol isn't a trigger for chronic cluster sufferers?

I think he's saying it isn't for HIM - not all chronics.

Brewcrew is right, I just meant for me, but I read somewhere that it is a less common trigger for chronics.  I can't remember where, but if I find it I'll post it.
