Do Your Clusters Follow An Increase-Decrease Cycle

Just wondering if anyone experiences a cluster cycle similar to mine.  They will always start off at 1 per day for a few days, and then increase to 2 per day, 3, 4, 5, 6, and finally 7 per day.  Once I hit 7 per day, the clusters decrease to 6,5,4,3,2,1 - gone.  The cycles last for about 4-5 weeks.

You'll find that there will be folks with similar ramp up - ramp down patterns. But you'll also find about every other variation you can imagine. And then others, like me who use to be able to set a clock to mine but now have randomized cycles with little rythym or rhyme anymore. Even when I did have a  little more pattern to mine they typically would just conk out.

So, lots of ways they happen -- all of'm hurt.

Well said Scott...you certainly have a way with words.

The "Increase-Decrease" is basically the story of my life. It drives me crazy...because things change constantly .

Im chronic and it changes it seems week to week...I have never had any semblance to CH's...they come around the clock...one day can be 3 hits, another can be 15...

Scott really covered this well...do the very best you can, and take it one hit, and day at a time.  Hope you are feeling better.  Sherri

My cycles follow a similar increase-decrease pattern, with a few differences.

First of all, I seldom get hit more than once in 24 hours--but they're usually barn-burners that can last two or more hours, increasing and decreasing and increasing in intensity, until the thing drains away, leaving a nasty afterburn.  So I guess I make up in quality what I lack in quantity.    Wink

The cycle itself usually ramps up quickly from shadows to 7's and 8's over the course of a week or two.  They peak for about two weeks, then gradually become less frequent and less intense, until they fade away.  The whole thing takes about 6-8 weeks.

Hasn't changed much over the course of forty years, other than the cycles getting farther and farther apart the older I get.

I'm luckier than most, and I know it.

Best wishes,

George

And their harlequin eyes.
The pain they inspire
Draws in harmonica melodies
And the feathers of birds
Which flame up at their touch.
It all comes to light in the sheer
Debonair.

Almost exactly the same for me George. As long as I stay away from Imitrex!
