Feeling a little battered

Felt the 1st twige at 9 last night.  That quickly ramped up to a 8/9/10 for the next 3 hours!!!  For the next 1 1/2 hours when I was finally was able to stop pacing/crying/screaming, I got into bed, exhaused with the ch at a kip 7.  I went through an entire big box of kleenex.  Finally fell asleep around 1:45am proped up on pillows.  The left side of my head is still sore.  Eye is swollen almost shut and the corner of my eye is raw from tearing.

God I hate this.  I have never had a ch last longer than 2 - 2 1/2 hours.  Sorry to whine, but I'm just so fucking tired and all I want to do is go back to sleep.  Unfortunately, I have to drag my ass out of bed, get into the shower and go to work.

OK rant over (sorry)

Beth,

Hold on there. Dig out some ice packs to help with the swelling and the eye, gulp down an energy drink to get you through the day and be very proud of yourself for dealing with this and not letting it win.

Hoping your day is PF and you only have to contend with the tiredness.

My CHer faces three hour fights with the beast pretty regularly.  My heart goes out to you - glad you made it through!

In supporting me as a supporter, someone very kind provided me a quote by Winston Churchill:  "When you're going through hell....  keep going."

I'm glad you made it out the other side!!!!!!!!!

Beth,  were you able to get the seeds?

also...I would  think the boss would understand if you just didn't show up for work, since the boss is your hubby.   Wink

I think it would easier if I just had a regular boss.  Nope, have to be here.  Too much stuff that has to be taken care of.  I bought a sign and hung it in hubby's office.  It says, "The only thing more overrated than natural childbirth is the joy of owning your own business" I can count on my hands the number of times I've called off sick in the last 16 years.

Still going the Kudzu route.  I'm going to give it another month.
