Dr. Peter Goadsby is scheduled to speak at a meeting of the British Neuropsychiatry Association on February 8, 2008, at the Institute of Child Health, Guilford Street, London. His topic: "The Aetiology and Management of Headache: an Update". Other topics with other speakers that day are "Facial Pain: a Psychiatric Perspective" and "The Psychology of Chronic Pain." Further info at the British Neuropsychiatry Association web site. I will also post this on the CH guest book.

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

Has Professor Goadsby published any books? If so, do you know any titles?
I'd like to know, as I have heard some of his theories...and told my Dr. about his theory...and he ordered a few tests....it can't hurt at this point.
