Of demons and dream

What is this new word "refractory" that my neuro is telling me about? Is it his way of telling me all previous abortives, preventives, and transitionals are not working like they use to? Could 10 years of dealing with the demon finally have given it a way back in permanently? HELL NO! I've beat this demon on 21 separate cycles and won't give up now. I've come too far for that...I'm a survivor. Ironic though, since none of us can kick the demon off our island. Yet, tired I am. Weeks of sleep deprivation have me typing like Yoda in random thoughts. I wonder why I come back here and post random thoughts every few cycles. I guess it's because there is nowhere else I can where the words make sense to others. They don't to my family, friends, co-workers...sometimes not even my doctors. They can witness a cluster but never truly identify with the pain. They can provide support yet can't feel the relief just after a cluster subsides (that "shit...thank god that's done" moment). At any rate, I'll move on into the next phase of my domestic demon engineering career in a refractory world. Until I find the path to make it submissive again I'll dream of demons and dreams. Oh, and hello again all. Bobby

Refractory, heck, it just means that they want to give up on you.... At least they didn't add the word "intractable" to the list.... Keep fighting the beast one moment at a time, know your tools, and carry your head high. With PF wishes, Ray
