Not sure whats going on....

Thought I was CH sufferer, thought this was first cycle.
Saw neurologist, he said with my symptoms I am closer to CH than any other neuro condition..... but he's not certain its CH?! Waiting for an appointment for CT.
Also saw my dentist, he claimed it could be jaw affecting the Tri nerve, causing CH, but he's not sure either?! Wait for CT.
Since my first round of "episodes" (4 attacks in 5 days ranging from a 3 to a 7- , I have not had another episode (been approx 4 weeks) BUT I have had a constant dull headache for the past 6 days, with an occasional twinge or sharp throb on the temple. Got constant pain in right eye too?! But this pain is in between a "normal" headache and a CH attack?!
Im new to all this and have no idea whats going on.
Im exhausted and relying on pills (that barely work) to get me through the day!
GP won't prescribe any of the meds suggested by the neurologist until after CT. WTF is that all about, leaving me to suffer!
Any advice anyone?!
Please help.......

Hi Therasa. Sorry for what you are going through right now. I am also sorry that I won't be much help to you. I just wanted to reply as for you will know you are not alone with this.
Waiting for a CT can be frustrating but for me it was worth the wait as it eliminated things that could be causing my pain.
Other's will be along soon to give their support so hang in there.

A CT scan is actually a good thing to have to rule out any other conditions that may be causing your pain. It may even be much more treatable than CH.
Hopefully you'll get your answers soon and you and your pysician can go from there in getting you the correct treatment for what ails you.

I am getting so frustrated with the system though, all I get told is "take Ibuprofen", I CAN'T! I have acid reflux and meds for that clash with Ibuprofen.
Also, waiting for appointment for CT in post, the whole of UK postal service is on strike, weeks worth of backlog, so my appoinment is stuck in the system somewhere.
I have made an appointment to see my optician, see if he can advise anything. Getting sick and tired of it all now.
Thanks for all your kind words and your help and support, im glad I have somewhere to turn with people that understand when I need it.
