Dr. Sheftell and dr. Tepper are leaving. I just received the letter. I feel they are second to none. Sheftell is opening his own practice in Stamford at a location to be determined.

Hi: I too, am patient of Dr. Teppers, have been a patient of NE Center of Headaches since 1985. I was told by Dr. Tepper at my last visit - 2 weeks ago that changes were being made, that he was still going to be here for another few months. I even have an appointment for next month. .. He stated he hoped he and his wife would be practicing at Yale... Dr. Sheftell will not be accepting any type of insurance. From my last conversation with Dr. Tepper, Dr. Sheftell has cancer and is tapering back his practice. Something doesn't sound quite right. Both Dr. Teppers if not accepted at Yale were looking to relocate out of state. There is definitely more there than meets the eye. For the practice to close this quickly is suspect. Make sure you pick up your files asap.
