Tom T,  I also know your pain like many others here and do understand where your at.

If you only have a little time without pain do go out and look at the water and feel the breeze. Its those times between the hits that give us the strength to fight again. Laugh at the beast and he will weaken.

Hi Tom,

All I can say, is throw the tank in the boat and go out anyway.

I know that high cycle can grind a person down flat...but going out on the water and hooking a good bucketmouth is the best way to spit in the beast's eye.  You win, beast loses.  You'll feel better.

Hey Tom.....stay strong!

About your sty - don't think I'm being silly, but put Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo on your eyes and rub them.  You probably have some debris trapped in and around your eyelashes.  Got this info from the eye doc himself and it works.  The last thing you need when brining in that BIG fish is having to look at him hanging there on a line with a swollen eye from a darn sty!  Wink

Good luck with the fishing and keep your chin up with the CH....if you get lucky maybe you'll drown the beast while you're out on the lake!  OH YEAH!!!   Cheesy

I feel your pain Tom!

I love bass fishing (or any fishing for that matter) but last year I would not even go outside when it was time for my cycle to start because I have this theory about air pollution and my CH (that’s another post). And guess what – I did not have any HA last year! But it did suck not being able to fishing though...

I will tell you what I did though that helped me – Fishing programs on TV: bass masters, Bill Dance etc... Yeah I know it’s not the same, but I did learn a lot though and it helps to keep your mind in the right place until the beast gives you a break. I have a TiVo so I can get every fishing show that comes on Grin

I have been going outside some this year and now the beast is back, but not as bad though??? I have been up to maybe a Kip7 but nothing like it was the last cycle I had, of course I do have 02 this go round? My cycle started around the first of August this year which is fairly predictable for me (usually starts in June and ends around September) so I hope I will still be able to get some fishing in before winter if all goes well...

Hope you get back fishing soon!

Hello Tom Thumb

Sorry to hear you are struggling. Hope it wanes down soon for you.

Arent your preventive meds working? What are you on? Maybe a prednisone taper while things are a bit frantic?

Painfree wishes and vibes to you.
