ok so i take verap(360mg) and lyrica(300mg).it has been the third day with lyrica.the first two days i took 150 mg at nine o clock night time and till next morning i didnt have any hit except little shadows that seemed to hit a wall.unfortunately last night about eight o clock the beast came with an 8 level headache.took an imitrex five minutes after the first shadows as i had a good warning that it would be bad.lasted one hour and half and left me exhausted.i phoned doc this morning and agreed to take another pill in the morning.even if it is a large dose it seems to work fine till now.it has some side effects.i feel all the time like i came out from a bar.sleepy and sometimes my concetration and speech have some gaps.i hope it works and i finally get used to it.i ll keep u posted if u are interested and if anyone else is on it pls keep me informed

Someone else recently posted about lyrica working for them in the last couple of weeks I think. I found it on the Medications message board. I tried it and it didn't do anything for me. However, I am sooo glad it works for you!!!

Hey, Black, Don't give up just yet just because it let one slip through! If it stops 90% of 'em (or even 20%), whaddaheck - that's an improvement! Hang in there! Regards, Jim

I'm with Jim. Kevin hasn't had a headache in 14 days now. He, too, complains of being sleepy, but it doesn't bother him enough to quit taking it. Like anything, it may work for some, but not all. I hope you get some relief soon. Leah.
