Thought i'd give you guys a little insight as to why I haven't been doing my normal whiny posting ...

I've been sleeping!  I started taking 100mgs of trazadone and it has been knocking me out with a quickness.  Sleeping like a baby!

Thanks to everyone for their support and feedback!

Glad it's working for you. I've been taking it since 99 along with topamax. If you have nightime hits -- try some melatonin along with it. I've about eliminated the night hits.

Now get some rest.

I have taken trazadone 50mg at night and it makes me fall right to sleep also.  It does nothing for my ha however, I take it because it is an antidepressant.

Haven't been here in awhile ...

My computer decided to take a break on me but, i'm back!

Been getting plenty of sleep lately, not at normal hours like I'd like but, you take the good w/ the bad ...

Trazadone has worked like a charm for sleep.  The Beast, however, is really having a good time right about now.  Attacks have been fewer but longer and it seems to take me half the day to recover from one ande the other half to recover from the 2nd.

Not sure if the trazadone has an adverse affect on the attacks and honestly don't really care.  These are alot easier to deal w/ when u sleep!

Thanks everyone again for being here.  I wish u all the best!

Trazadone is an antidepressant. Its actually a tetracyclic but is often lumped into the same family as other tricyclics. It has the similar effect as an SSRI ( specific serotonine reuptake inhibitor ) so it can cause serotonin syndrome ( a potential fatal reaction ) when used together with ergotamine or triptans.

Please be aware of this and be safe.
