Long Time No Post...

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I missed the board greatly. After I last posted (June 11th) I ended up in the hospital for a little over a week on the DHE and all kinds of other meds (believe it or not I remember nothing of the stay or 3 days following it) and then a week after discharge I moved into my new home so I am just now getting my computer up and running, had to wait for them to get my home cable readyl, and to get everything unpacked & situated (DH was in police academy so he was either exhausted or never around to help) Also, I wanted to let you guys know I was discharged from the hospital with OXYGEN!!! Ironically though I had been pain free since discharge I didn't need it till about 3 days ago. Now if they would have gotten it to me BEFORE I never would have gone to the hospital in the first place. Idiots! Anyway, Hope all of you are doing wonderfully (considering) and I look forward to chatting with you and thanks again for all of the support and offers of help previously. Lindsay

Welcome back, Lindsay. I'm happy to hear that O2 has been successful for you--sorry you had to go through a hospital stay to get it, though. Best wishes, George

Welcome back sunshine! Awesome they finally gave you the 02, can't tell you what a difference it's made in the quality of my life and the amount of "fear" it's removed from me regarding the beast! It's an awesome tool, hoping it works as well for you. (And cut DH slack, my academy memories are 27 years old and they still make me quake!! Good luck to him) Guiseppi

| I can now relate to this, I'm sure you guys can understand the horror I was going through not knowing what the hell was going on with my head. I was petrified and mostly thanks to this board and my parents I am learning to cope ALOT better even though I still somewhat petrified since I know this is the only the beginning. As, far as the DH goes, I cut him some slack, he's worn out. I'm very proud of him. He graduates Sept. 7th. But... if he goes out after work to the strip club again with his fellow cadets while I'm at home with 2 under 2 and dealing with CH's, I'll cut him something else (off) Lindz

I know, I know! "Brothers" I have to admit I am very impressed with him. His homework, to me, is tedious BS. He has to write 1000 word essays every night plus this week is weapons training so he has to write sentences like "Be sure of your target and what is behind it" & "keep your finger off the trigger untill you decide to fire" etc, etc. 200 times apiece (so another 1000 lines) we go through alot of paper. And, I can't really say much about the strip club thing since A) Put myself through grad school waitressing at one B) Made him take me to one for my 30th bday. LOL

Tell him to keep his eye on the end and just keep playing their "games." It's so worth it, 27 years and I still can't imagine doing anything else! You sound like the perfect cops wife, don't lose your sense of humor and don't let him lose his. Guiseppi
