Humidity?

Does humidity or heat have an affect on these things?  I'm chronic so i've grown as acustomed to the pain as can be, so I thought!  I live in Kansas and it's been really hot for the last 3 weeks or so and my pain intensity has increased dramatically!  I'm back to the point where I can't sleep again!  Am I crazy or does the humidity or heat have an affect on others too?

Once again I have to thank all of you for being here when I need you.  I hope one day I can be as educated on the subject to pass along advice and help someone else dealing with these issues.  Till then i'm an idiot, so bare with me!

I know that heat and humidity definetly triggers ch and makes them much more intense for me.  Meaning I am more apt to have a kip 10 at that time.

Here's the way I look at it: There's a reason a lot of us use icepacks to help make them go away.

Usually when the heat and humidity blanket down, along with it comes the barometric changes as well.  They kinda go hand in hand.  At least here in the upper mid-west.

Both have been my nemisis for many years.  Thanks to alternative means of treatments (for me) it's been the easiest summer in a LONG time.

My worst days definitely coincide with a changing barometer, and increasing heat is almost always a trigger. I always thought if I could manage to retire early I'd spend my days on a Florida beach, but at this point I am seriously considering Alaska.

I live in New Mexico, humidity usually under 20 percent.
For the last three weeks it has been as high as 90%.My clusters have been really bad. It seems like they get worse when the barometric pressure drops.

Hi kyitb!

For a lot of years I was misdiagnosed and what did the docs and/or nurses tell me to do?  Stand in a hot shower to open my sinuses!!!!!!!!
I lay crumpled and in the fetal position on the shower floor crying my eyes out the pain got so bad!

I hear ya with the heat and humidity. I live in VA, and that is just part of daily life here, and sure enough, I'm paying for it now

Ditto. The heat and humidity are making things worse. Storms do me in, too.
