frustrated with 02 supplier

So I went this morning to see about getting a Non-rebreather mask. The darn supplier said I need a prescription from my doctor. They also won't give me a regulator that goes above 8L/min. without my doctors approval. 
So frustrating. Now I have to schedule a doctors appointment, he is away so they will call to 'fit me in'. The darn doctors office is 1-1/2 hour away too. Sux.
Just venting!

I'm 6'4", 240 pounds and 7-8 lpm works just fine for me. I think anything higher than that I would be wasting.

7-8 lpm wouldn't touch mine.....Bob, you are one of the lucky ones.
If you want to go higher, just search Ebay.........many high flow regs to be found there.
