Another Question about shadows
« on: Jul 31st, 2007, 3:29pm »

I typically only get shadows if I have major attacks. However, I do get this pain that I am wondering is common or not. The skin on top of my head on the right side (my picks come through the right eye... then temple..then jaw) of my head is sore for days after a bad attack (KIP8 and up). I sorta feels bruised. Is this common with you all? In one sense I hope it is , but then again maybe it is not and will be something the doc  can work with (Probably give me a asprin and get my copay).

Any thoughts.

I call it a headache hang over. When I get one that I can't control and it ratchets to an 8 or higher, I feel the after effects for several days. Feels like I got in a chick fight...(that'll start something Grin) and had my hair pulled so hard it bruised. I don't get the lingering jaw pain, just in the areas above and behind the affected eye.

A shadow is to me is the demon parked and ready to strike. It's not gone, it's annoying, but it's livable.

Don't mind him. Once in awhile his handler leaves the cage open and he gets on here and posts - starts calling other people insane and shit. Shocked

I don't even have to hit K8 for the sensation you're describing. The higher I go, the more it will hurt afterward and the longer it sticks around, but I'll get it after a 4 or 5.

I was going to ask this same question. don't have to now.  Was thinking it was a brain tumor that was making the top of my head feel like it was smacked with a stick. It has been sore for weeks. I can't even let my girlfriend rub it.
