Melatonin and Aging?

Saw this referenced in the AARP Bulletin. Seems melatonin may act as an antioxidant, reducing the quantity of free radicals in the cells--which may slow the effects of aging. As much of this stuff as some of us take, I'd appreciate it if anyone would let me know whether they've reached the age of--say--140. Thusfar, I think we're only talking about immortal chickens, though. http://www.blackwell-synergy.com/doi/abs/10.1111/j.1600-079X.1995.tb0017 8.x Many thanks, George

Ah! The foreigners put on such airs Wearing the tangerine suits And their harlequin eyes. The pain they inspire Draws in harmonica melodies And the feathers of birds Which flame up at their touch. It all comes to light in the sheer Debonair. (Ellen)

Ok, so now you've found out my "secret" -- it's the melatonin...... But don't tell anyone else -- they all think I'm just naturally 29.... Hugs BD
