The beast is slowly but surely sneaking back in. I'm getting sporadic hits both in the daytime and during the night. Last jab 4 hours ago and I'm already shadowing again. (this may even turn into something within the next cpl of minutes). It seems that my Histamine ride is over once again ... last stop is Cluster Hell !! BTW, I got a 3 - 3.5 week break from hits thanks to the last treatment ... but I was hoping for a longer break again this time. ( Longest break so far, about 8 or 9 weeks ) UNsolved

Sorry for the pain, but just take it one moment at a time and NEVER let the beast win. My best hopes, wishes, and blessings are headed your way. Ray

See Mike, this is where I disagree with INHS criteria. Remissions that are forced by medications, and must be maintained by the use of medications are not remissions in my opinion but simply successful medical interventions. A spontanious end to a cycle that needs no medications to continue the period of PF time would in my opinion be a true remission.

| I agree red when I wen't through my so called remission it was after my histamine desensitization, don't get me wrong I cherished my pain free time but it was not true remission it was induced by meds. But believe me I'm not complaining I loved every minute of it. .........................Dave

Thanks everyone. Last night was a rough one with 2 attacks (both requiring a 'jab') I seen my local neuro yesterday and we both agreed that I'd stay out of the hospital for as long as I can handle it. Just before I'm about to CRACK, I'll go back in and do another round of histamine. Hope you all had a better night than I did ! PF Wishes UNsolved

Hi Michael, Sorry to hear the beast is back; looks like we will be doing the dance together, I started again last Saturday with nightly hits but so far nothing above a KIP 7. Looks like if the Taurine & Magnesium routine was working it’s stopped now. At least I had 240 days PF so I can't complain. Ah well ain't life grand. Let’s hope it’s a short one Cheers Barry

| I've been going with Kudzu, Calcium/Magnesium and Taurine every day for almost two weeks now. I've had two bad headaches in that time period wheras before the supplements I was having one or two CHs every day. I got a bad one a couple of nights ago when I had a few pints, but that's my fault. Take care Michael.

| Howzit Barry Sorry to hear this, I really thought you were on a good wicket with this. I hope the cycle is short and manageable. Cheers, Wayne

Sorry Michael Just when we think it's safe to go back in the water ..... And Redd, I agree -- even when we're in "remission" we're not really "thur" with the beast - we're just on "hold" till he decides to pop in again. But I love the remission periods. Hang in there Michael... Hugs BD
