Oxygen Demand Valve

Hello Everyone:

There were several of us on the "Chat" section in the wee hours of the night.  I mentioned that I use a demand valve on my Oxygen.  It works like a scuba regulator, in that the Oxygen only flows when you inhale.  You receive 100% oxygen and no waste when you are not breathing in.

I found the very one that I use on the web.  All I can say is that it works well for me!

The above link must be on one line in your browser without any spaces to work.

So there you have it!

Wishing you PF days and nights,

Several people here use that type systen, with excellent results.  It is just too expensive, for small gain, in my mind, to go that route.  I get good results with a standard regulator, and Ben's clustermasxTM.

Glad it is working for you!

Thank you Chuck!

It is expensive, as clicking on the link will show, however 2 boxes of Imitrex ampules costs more.  It is all a matter of perspective.

Whatever works!

I scored an old paramedic demand regulator and use my 02 the same way as you. I can abort a headache in about 8 minutes, using around 200 pounds from an E-Tank.
