thought I was done but.....

Alright I know I've been out of the loop for a long time but I don't ever remember once my cycle was done that I would get the shadows that keep coming. I'm getting strong hits in the AM. I haven't had to take anything other then one day which was a imitrex pill but nothing else. The hits seem to be staying most of the day. So that is really different. Maybe it just that my left side is the weakest side so any h/a would land there and the weather has been shitty here rain, cloudy, storms. Don't know what to think. Neck is begining to feel tight again on the left side also. I'm not drinking nor have I been since Dec when I got sick way before the clusters started which were Feb 24th. It could be my thyroid also that is off. Maybe I should just go and get more blood work. Has anyone else been having weird things going on with their cycles? Sami

Hey There! For what its worth, for about a month after my cycle ends, I usually get some pretty strong shadows. Each one scares the shit outta me thinking that they could be back but they just annoy me for about 10 minutes or so then they are gone! Not sure if this is the same situation you are in but just thought I'd let you know! Hope everything works out for ya! Chris

Hey Chris, I think that's the problem. I'm scared shitless about the beast coming back. I'm glad you popped by to tell me it happened to you because before when I was done I was done and l could go back to normal but this thing has me on edge. Thanks for the pep talk I feel a bit better. Can I ask you during that month did you get any real hitters? Sami

Have been so called "out of cycle" for a month and my neck and shoulder (right side) is still sore. The other side of my neck started hurting yesterday and this morning I am getting some weird stabbing in the left back side of my skull. The pain is sharp and fleeting. Enough pain to make me wince. I keep getting Kip 1-2's in the afflicted right side. At the end of a pot of coffee, am really starting to question what caffeine is doing to me? These migraines? I am experiencing seem to coincide with my coffee drinking. I ordered some African red tea (Rooibos) and am going to attempt to switch from coffee to the red tea. I thought I was done too. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rooibos Donnie

Hi Donnie, I'm going to try some of that. I gave up caffiene about a year and a half ago do to going hyper on thyroid meds (not a fun trip) Up until then I would drink coffee about 24 oz every morning. I never had a problem before the meds. Now today the rain has stopped were I live and I only have a real dull h/a in both temples so I'm guessing that maybe the weather is also playing a roll in this. I also had a drink last night and no problems (not a heavy drinker maybe one or two on the weekends) I think I will not do that anymore until I'm sure I'm done. I wish for you PFNAD's. Sami

I'm the same way. The first CH I had was three years ago, so I don't remember exactly how they ended. This time I'm not getting a full blown CH at night anymore, and I can drink again, but in the mornings I seem to still have a pain under my eye (sinus area) and in my teeth. It's like the CH moved down a little, and is resting. The shadows are pretty strong, but not debilitating. I guess I'll wait and see.
