Am done too!!

Looks like am done too. Cycle started new years eve and lasted until two weeks ago, so it was 12-13 weeks this time. Still have 7 imitrex nasalsprays left of a pack of 18 Haven't taken any other medisin. CH peaked 3 weeks before it ended. Have had some tingling and light shadows after it left, but all gone now. The only thing that disturbs me is that after the cycle ends I have what I think, are tension headaches for about 2 weeks, and then those goes away too. Anyhow I use regular painkillers for those, and that helps Spring is finally coming, looks like it's gonna be a lovely summer this year.. or rather, I'll take any season as long as it is painfree Best of luck to all of ya! See ya in a year or so

Max, I'm right there with you. It's been now 2 days without any Imitrex and so far so good so it looks like I'm following my old cycle of 6 weeks. I to am getting the tension h/a's but the weather is all over the place here so that could be a bit of it along with that TOM that always produces dull h/a's for the first day or two Or the Mono that I'm still dealing with. But either way I haven't needed the O2 or the Imitrex that I was taking everyday. I'm now hoping to remain in remission for a couple of years but after this you will always be on edge until you skip a cycle then it gets a bit better. Here's to you enjoying your PRDN. Sami

Happy you're PF. But, that doesn't mean you have to forsake the board until the demon returns - you have a lot of information and wisdom to share.

Congrats Max, My cycle was about the same and your symptoms are what mine were. It has been PF since March 25th for me. A slight twitch now and then, still a sore neck/shoulder and some weird head throbs now and then. All becoming less as time goes by. Hopefully you will never have to come back and remain PF for life Donnie

Hmm.. it's not that I don't want to help other ppl you understand, but after 13 weeks in purgatory I think it's safe to say that I could use a little time off. That means that i can be able to stop roaming the net for updates on meds, and also stop bitching about the pain on this board. If you have a problem with that.. f...k you!

Maybe I'm just nosy but I choose to think I might just learn something new or even be able to help someone along the way. To each his own....don't they call that 'different strokes' But....what do I know...I'm a supporter Be Well.... Jackie

| Hey bud, that note wasn't intended for you, but there were some other sour grapes mentioning $20 sleepers and another telling me to hit the fucking paypal button on the way out..... I didn't say anything about not coming back here at all, but my cycle is ended and I am going out in the sun again to play with my kids, and be with my missus and friends. My very best to all of you! Kick the beast in the head if can.

As I age my memory sucks so I can never remember who said it but........Life is what happens bewteen the hits! My little girls have grown up and left me. Hold on to every second while you have them, it's an old cliche but DAMN they grow up fast. 2 days ago I was trying to learn french braid from herring bone, now we're saving for weddings! As for some of the more....forceful....responses to your post. People react differently. I too used to stay away between hits. I always figured I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed and would never be like one of the smart people on the board with their incredibly info filled posts..the E-double posts, the bob posts with all the links and all the info to print out. What I've learned is that I can offer a lot of help just by posting the "what works for me" stuff and just being there when someone is at wits end and frustrated. I'd invite everyone to take a deep breath, regroup, remember the purpose of the board and move on! Here's hoping we hear from y'all between the hits! Guiseppi's rambling 2 cents worth!

Glad to hear your cycle is over. Enjoy your pain free time, dude. There will no doubt be someone here a year from now when you go back into cycle. on Apr 12th, 2007, 6:58am, MaxPayne wrote:Oh yea I forgot; now I can really start to play with my 3 daughters aged 10 years, 7 years and 6 months again |
| This statement really seems to be a blade meant to wound those you are leaving behind here. Kind of like trying to rub it in that you are pain free while others are not. If that's the impression you want to leave people with, so be it. I really do have to ask, though, why could you not play with your kids before?

I'd like to know who it was here that said that, enjoying your family and your PF life couldn't be done right along with helping out those who are new and could use some of your ideas, suggestions or advice.....just like you recieved from those who were PF at the time when you needed them. Quote:Best of luck to all of ya! See ya in a year or so |

| I played with my kids before of course, but not so much the latest 13 weeks because CH. My headaches happens during the nite, regular as clockwork actually. Usually I have three hits per nite when I am in cycle. I go to work every morning regardless of this. When I come home from work at around 6 in the afternoon I am usually pretty beat, and too tired to do anything. My comment about going out to play with my kids wasn't ment to hurt or offend anybody.

Happy for you! I'm beginning to hope my cycle is ending too. When fall is coming, I'll be picking mushrooms. They're abundant around here. I plan to eat 15 twice a year. Perhaps that'll keep the beast away for the rest of my life.
