Well I think I'm done....

My Cycle started Feb 24th and they seemed to have ended April 7th. That's 6 weeks.
Last night I stopped the Imitrex pills at bedtime and so far so good. I'm weaning down from the Klonopin for 1 mg to 3/4 mg this will take a bit of time to wean off of this. I can't do this too fast do to withdrawl symptoms that I get.
When I'm done weaning down off the Klonopin I will begin to wean down off the cortef that I had been taking for over a year now for Adrenal fatigue. I will have to wait another 6 weeks for more blood work to see where the Mono is and what my thyroid levels are since we lowered the Armour down to only one grain which is not high enough for me but Dr. wants me to become stable again before we mess with it.
All in all things are looking up. It will take me a bit of time to get back to my ole self since dealing the the clusters and the Mono really knock some life out of you but at least now I can get back to doing some of the things that I've put off.
I will hold on to the O2 for another week then ask them to take the large bottle and the generaters out and just leave me with a couple of E tanks for a month or two.
I'm so praying I go back into remission for a couple of years like my past history has dictated. So for me Imitrex everyday sometimes 2 a day does not extend my cycle.

Good for your Sami! Hope you do get those 2 years of remission or even more, I wish my remission would be that long but I got used to wait for the beast to come the first months of the year... but I am happy for you!

Wondering when you peaked Sami? My worse episode was two weeks before the end of a 7 week cycle. My GP put me on indocin (indomethacin) and it appeared to help. A week and a half after starting the indocin, the cycle ended. Two days after starting on indocin, PF days began.

My cycle goes like this. First week it's like a knock on the door letting you know it's here....the next week it ramps up to the next 3 weeks of pure hell then I seem to either I get use to the beast and deal better or it seems to start to ramp down to the last week where it's mostly shadow and sharp jabs. I have been getting some today but I'm now going into my TOM so that's not going to help matters I will know better by the end of the week where this is going but so far so good. I'm now having more good days then bad. It sucks because in all these years we still can't find a med to prevent them other then using abortives as preventives for me.
The support here is what really made the differents. Without the people dragging me out of the hole I think I would still be suffering. The O2 made a believe out of me and that will be the first thing I will make sure I have on hand next time.

Glad you're out of cycle and urge you to stick around and Pay it Forward. this is the time of year a lot of peeps are just starting their cycles. They need support now.
people like Chuckie Baby and I don't even get a break, so we're here all the time... we need the company.

Great News !!!! As others have said, stick around. My cycle ended in January and I'm still around... the first cycle I came here was back in 2004 and after it was over I left until the next one. Saw a post from Barbara D that made me think -- what a rude thing to do; thus I'm still here.
(thanks Barbara D.!! -- I was paying attention !!)

Your right when I needed the support you all were there now it's my time with a bit of a clearer head to help someone else.
I'm holding on to the O2 for a week or two just to make sure but now the waiting begins to see just how long I will remain in remission. I guess I got a bit cocky when I went almost 5 yrs without any now it's time to start all over again with the worrying as to just when it will hit again.
I'm here if anyone needs me just yell.
