hiya all,
i went to see my neuro yesterday and he has added lithium to my verapimil, but also said my prolactin levels were over twice what they should be and theres a chance i may have a microadenomas (small tumor) of the pituitary gland
so i had another blood test and he has booked me in for an mri.
now im shitting my self, and the mri has around a 2months waiting list ! so 2 months of worry !!
im also seeing my gp on monday because there may be a chance that my prolactin being high might be linked to my girlfriend having 5 miscarrages, we have been trying for a child 4 over 2yrs and they cant work out why we loose them.
but i found out that high prolactin in men can cause deformed sperms and may lead to miscarrage.
any advise welcome im feeling pretty low about it all,
i wish the beast would give me just a little break to cope with it, but no such luck, he has been living in my head since aug 06
