Hiyas!

Well seems like things are lookin up. Just had my first painfree night in 13 weeks. Just sitting here now looking out at the sun and drinking my coffee. Been a fairly short cycle this year, I think it's because I managed to cope withouth too much medisine. The pain is a bitch, but the headaches are not lasting as long as the last time. Got 18 shots of Imitrex when the whole thing started during x-mas(yikes!) and I still has 7 left. Going up to the mountains on thursday to do some skiing. Gonna party like it's 1999 Grin I'll drink to all of ya. Hang in there and don't forget to smile Smiley

Hey Max,

I'm keeping my fingers crossed and anything else that I can cross for you to stay PF.  Don't you just feel like a million bucks when the cycle passes?  Enjoy yourself and just in case take the imitrex with you.  Sometimes a change in weather or air pressure can bring on a H/A.....I know bit my tongue.  Go have a ball.....Enjoy!

That is great news. A friend told me when I had my first PF night during this cycle that we look at the day in a whole new way and she was 100% right.
Enjoy your PF times and have a drink for me.

I would not try drinking, until I had been PF at least a week.  It could be that the beast just missed your address that night.

I sincerely hope you ARE finished with your cycle.  It is just that I would wait before tempting the fates by drinking, yet.

Good luck, and I hope you DO remain PF!!!

Goddammit, the bastard is still here, but he is weakened. My body wakes me up automatically during the night even if I am not having a hit. Got one this morning though, but it was short and less intense. Probably just a matter of days until I am completely out of the cycle.. aaaaoooohhhhhh Roll Eyes Still, I had a beer and a large brandy last nite without getting hit, so the partying is still on this weekend Cool Sun is shining again this morning and things are looking up. Have a great day all of you!

So sorry about that. Sad

I too was PF for a couple of weeks then a hit last night just like clockwork 11:50pm. Not as intense as before but still a kip7 and lasted about 30mins.

I still feel I am ending my cycle but this goes to show that we can never let our guard down.

I hope this was a isolated hit for you and you stay PF for a long time. Take care.

13 weeks? That's a long cycle in my book....you're due for a break. Hope you have a good time with no pain this weekend but I would take your Imitrex with you just in case.

Hah! The big day is here.. and the sun is shining again this morning Grin Just had a "twinge" last nite that lasted for about a cigarette. A mild shadow after I got up just now. Gonna work from home until 12, and then we are taking off to the mountains Cool Hope you all have a kickass weekend!
