I'm getting my A$$ kicked.

Yesterday I was doing OK. I only had to use the O2 starting at 4pm when we were blessed with a weather change. Dropped 30 degrees and rain. Since then they are coming no stop. Seems like every 2-3 hrs I'm on the O2.
It started at 4pm 6pm 9:30pm when I just gave up and took an Imitrex. At 10:30 I took my klonopin but cut it down a smig from 1 mg which I took the night before along with a Imitrex tablet 100mg to 3/4 mg and slept like a baby but woke up a bit drugged.
Today I woke up at 4:30 with another cluster did the O2 went back to bed until 7 got hit again did the O2 and this time tried a fiornal which was ok until now had to do the O2 again this time I gave in again and took a nasal imitrex.
It's raining out it's cold out yesterday was in the 60's today it's in the 30's. It's even hailing a bit out. I'm tired (mostly from the Mono) I have that women thing going on which will give me h/a's anyway. And I'm fustrated.
I just put a call into the neuro about maybe trying topomax since I never tried that before.

This is my opinion and should be held in that perspective.
Get off anything that makes you drousy..clonipin. Fiorninal will trigger more than help, get off it.
Lose the 02 concentrators.100% 02 stat. Get the flow rate above 12lpm and breathe deeply almost to the point of hyperventalation. Stay on it for 20 min. Next time slam it with caffeine. then mix it up with 02 the next time.
Of course dont do anything without chickin with the doc.
Hang tough 2 to 3 hours on 02 is not bad. Your intake of trex may be causing rebounds. IMHO

Ok O2 is at 15 lpm. I had to take the Imitrex which I'm trying to keep to 1 a day. Not doing the fiornal any more it doesn't work. Well at least one doesn't work now if I took the whole bottle then maybe we would get somewhere. Only kidding not going anywhere to nosey to miss out on anything.
I'm kinda limited to taken and calium blocker due to thyroid meds which it will block. I wanted to talk to him about topamax but I don't he's keen on this due to having 3 more weeks to go before I "WILL" go into remission.
Now I did go over today and he gave me some more samples. One was Zomig nasal which I have never tried know anything about this.
Klonopin was used last time something with the brain chemicals and seziures. This may be working for me. I took this at 10:30 .25mg and so far no need for O2. Weather sucks outside also. Freezing rain but I think it has stablized so maybe that is why my head is doing better.
I'm still fighting back

Are you using en entire injection or are you splitting them?
Are you taking any preventatives?
You pretty much discuss abortives with exception to Klonopin.
Have you tried melatonin?
I have been med free for about 1 yr and though I remain chronic life really was easier with exception to the past few days.......you are correct! The damn weather has set my head flying.
I will be adding melatonin back into the mix because they have invaded my sleep again.
It was a long break from the night monster and now he is saying hello so I will wipe him out.

please do NOT take two different triptans ( like Zomig & imitrex)within 24 hours of each other. It is very dangerous...could be life threatening.
and i so sorry you are hurting. Seems like you got a lot going on all at once.

I try Zomig and yes it worked but I had the pressure on my chest, anxiety and tingle fingers..not a good feeling It also made me nauseus, but...who knows?, it may work for you.. I also get the same side effects with Imitrex, so I rather stay with cafergot whenever I can.

Will Not mix I promise. I mainly use Imitrex and it works for me. Pills at might and if I'm caught during the day I use the nasal but I really try to keep it just to one a day.
I tried the Melation and believe it or not I get a H/A from it so after two days I stopped it and continued the klonopin. I get a full nights sleep but get hit when I get up and we do the dance off and on all day until the night again when I take the pill and 1 mg of Klonopin.
I have tried all the preventives and would love to be able to find one that works. But as of yet this hasn't happend. On Thursday I am going in to speak to the neuro about Topamax. Not sure if it will work for me and I'm worried that it will extend my cycle but hell I don't know just how long my cycle is going to be. For years it was 6 weeks but I'm coming out of the longest remission to date 5 yrs so I guess anything goes.
Living on O2 and Ice packs during the day.
