I found this link that, in my mind, is a fairly good description of clusters. From this link, there are several more artcles about treating and such. http://www.loftusmd.com/Articles/Cluster/clusteroverview.html One paragraph I love is this one: Quote:Cluster headaches and migraines are sometimes referred to as vascular headaches. I do not like this categorization because research is demonstrating that cluster and migraine are clearly different entities and grouping them causes unneeded confusion. In addition, patients will sometimes be told that they have "cluster migraines" and this is the worst of all as it fails to convey to the patient which diagnosis they have - i.e., cluster or migraine. |
