Your profile indicates that you are in Singapore Daniel so the cost and accessiblity may be different than in the US. In most cases in the US we are able to get a prescrption for home oxygen therapy from our physician. We then contact any of what is a very competitive market of suppliers for medical O2 tanks and apparatuses. In most cases there is not a particular brand as medical consumables such as O2 aren't really branded all that much. I think my cost is a $45 rental per month and I keep 2 "E" Tanks available at all times. Here's a website with more info: http://www.maplefallswebdesign.com/misc/oxygen/oxygen.htm Scott

Hi Daniel Here’s a couple of links below to oxygen suppliers in Singapore. I can’t be sure but it looks like from the information supplied on the BOC site that you may be able to get o2 from them simply by setting up an account with them, that’s the case here in Australia. If not you may have to get a referral from your Doc, it looks like from both companies that the service is called Homecare, here in Aust its called Oxycare. Hope this gives you some leads to getting hold of o2 & the right equipment, o2 is a real saviour for a lot of us when getting the big hits. The Mushys link below is a piece I wrote some time ago and may be helpful. Hi Barry, Thanks for the reply and also the web addresses you got for me. Appreciated it. BOC have its offices in Singapore. Perhaps I will check with my neuro first before I do any purchases cause there's a difference if you are refer and not refer. And that's maybe is the price difference. Nevertheless I have save the websites for reference. Cheers.
