Hello everyone, I just wanted to take a moment and share my last 7 months with you. I have posted here a few times in the past. I have suffered for ever with these things. Episodic mostly until last year it switched sides and became what I thought to be chronic. It never went away like years past. It evolved into clusters at night and then migraines all day. I was desperate and ready to cave in. Doctors gave me a few things that seemed to help but I was afraid of them (relpaks) they worked but again I was Leary of the long term affects. My oxygen that had saved me for the last ten years was not working anymore or at least not very well. Ok so my Father in-law said why don't you try acupuncture. I am not selling this or recommending it, just saying for me it was nothing short of a miracle. 2nd visit they were GONE, four more follow ups and I have been free of the DEVIL for 2 months. Not even a tiny headache. I am a VERY stressed person, meaning I am a worry wart, maybe this last year was worse for me worrying more than years past. I had things go wrong last year and was very troubled by them. I just wonder, at least for me if a lot of my issues have always been stress? Whatever the reason I am a cluster suffering soul. The body is full of voltage and I truly think I had short circuited myself for years being a worry wart and just needed a HARD RESET like a Computer???? Take my experience for what's it's worth, just thought I'd share. Maybe I was just lucky, don't know and don't care the freaking things are gone. And to be truthful I have never felt better in a lot of ways, I am a believer in it now. He put these thin needles in my head, ears, temples, wrist's and between my thumb and fore finger's. I thought it was BS until now...Best wishes to all that suffer. On the third visit I hugged my acupuncturist, he gave me my life back....Denis

Hey Denis, I'm glad to hear that you have found some relief. I hope it lasts for you. I told my wife that I would try acupuncture at the beginning of my current cycle, but I never did. I am towards the end of the cycle, but I think I will try it next time. Just curious, what was the cost? Mark

Hey Mark, My husband went that route about 15 years ago. And I remember the cost being anywhere from $35-50 dollars a visit back then. Sometimes Insurance pays for "X" amount of visits per annum too. Some will even work out a cash price. After his first visit (I don't want to discourage you from trying this at all) a headache pretty much accelerated from nowhere. So, that was, once again, disappointing. He gave it a couple of months, still nothing. We did find out that some Chiropractors specialize in headaches. And that it takes a few months sometimes to get the back re-aligned and stay re-aligned - that seems to be the premise they use to have you go along with treatment. So, best of luck with your next line of treatment whatever it is. Froggy

P. S. Denis, really glad to hear you have found what works for you - it's a beautiful thing. From what I read many times on this board, a good amount of people write in and have such a positive, forward motion attitude about the whole "we're all in the same boat together" experience and say it's a one day at a time thing and enjoy the pf days while they last cuz you never know when they're coming back. (Now that's a run on sentence!) Best wishes, Froggy

I'm glad it worked for you. I went that route a few years back, but it didn't help me. I stuck with it for a couple of months and would feel great when I left the doc, but about an hour later would get hit with a Kip 10. Hope it keeps working for you. Hugs BD

I went for accupunture, cost me over 800.00. I wanted it desperately to work. I enjoyed the treatment, got hit really bad while in one of the treatments. I had approximately 14 treatments, also went to the chiro, did 16 of them, that did not help. Making a long story short, the only thing after many medications (causing liver problems) I decided it was time to try alternatives, Kudzu, didn't have the needed relief, I can say mushrooms finally gave me some relief. I'm not home free yet, but there's been a improvement. Next is seeds, hopefully that's going to knock the beast out.
