Verap has been working at keeping the beast at bay; however, this a.m. it would not be denied ... very light attack (kip 3 or 4) around midnight which I was able to get under control with a whole lot of caffeine. It came back around 5:30 a.m. (kip 8 or 9) (I HATE it when they do that because they seem harder to shake !!!) -- Maxalt, more caffeine, excedrine, etc... still shadowing hard at almost 10 a.m. --- Moral to the story -- back to Imitrex & ask for O2 next visit to my doc, never get too comfortable on the preventatives...

| I definitely use prevents, the same too, verapamil, but I always keep a trex bedside, a couple at work, and the oxygen close by at home. Throughout the year things fluctuate and can take quite awhile to correct adjusting the prevent, and until then, a surprising amount of abortive is needed. It's nice to be able to be comfortable with the prevents at times that can last quite awhile, a little dust on the abortives but baby, when things change, they get a lot of use. ps. the morning ones can be difficult for the oxygen to completely handle, I find, for me.
