I got hit by a truck

My (new and wonderful) doctor put me on a different regimin (verapamil and O2) a few months ago, and my CHs have become less frequent and less powerful. That was until yesterday when the beast paid me a major visit (a chain of Kip 10+s). I didn't even have any alcohol for New Year's Eve! (bummer!) My question is this. After surviving the major hits yesterday, today I fell generally awful. I can't remember feeling this weird in the past. I feel weak all over, and I feel like I've taken a direct hit with a fist to the left eye. It truly is sore. I just feel like I've been run over by a truck. Have any of you felt completely lousy the day following an attack?

Thanks Linda . . . Wow! What a dance! I do feel like an 18 wheeler was my partner. I honestly don't ever remember feeling this bad. At least the pain is gone now. Well, with a start like that to the new year, I can only hope things will get better! Yeow! PFDAN to all. Deb

I can't say this is your experience, but it was mine...on verapamil, because my BP was so low to start with..I couldn't be on an effective dosage. I was passing out. But what low dose I was on I did make recovery from a series of hits very difficult. Now we don't know your dosage, nor your normal BP, maybe you could talk to the doc about upping you dose of Verap to a therapudic dose? Series of K10's wouldn't indicate your meds are adjusted correctly, or you may want to start over from scratch. Doesn't sound like you are getting any real relief. To add: let us know what you've tried in the past too... we may be able to point you in the right direction.

I saw an act of faith today. A man was on his knees, not in a pew in a Church, but in a garden planting seeds. ~~Unknown

I have the same thing happen once a week. It is the middle of the night attack that Zomig does nothing for. It also seems deeper in my head than my typical right temple CH. I can't feel the blood vessal pounding so pressing on it doesn't help either. After one of these I feel like I got hit by a truck, but also am CH free for 1-2 days after that. Not sure what is worse, the 10++++ CH or the entire next day of the truck-flattening feeling
