My not-so-triumphant return

OK, I've been gone for like 3 years.  3 glorious, pain-free years.  It was great while it lasted.  5 nights ago, BAM!  I thought maybe it was a fluke, but no such luck, as every night since has been hellish, and every day since has brought that old familiar shadowy deathness.  I really thought they were gone for good.  I can't even remember my old logon, had to make a new one.  So I busted out the old oxygen tank and surrendered to my sleepless fate.  FYI, 3 years ago I did the shroom therapy with obvious results (before that I was episodic, twice a year for a few months, nightly).  Anyone else experienced this?  Did I miss anything good?  I wish I could say it's good to be back : (

So sorry you had to come back, but glad you didn’t forget your old friends and support group.

Three years wow, that must have been a nice break, well let’s hope it is a short cycle and you will have another three year break in the mean time pull up a chair, welcome back.

With that kind of results with mushrooms, I believe I would go back to the cow pasture quickly!

Sorry that the headaches returned.  I never had a remission that lasted 3 years so I envy you in that respect.  Hope this one ends soon for you.

You're right... Shame on me for staying away... When the shrooms worked so well, I did stick around for a while and sing their praises... I should have checked in more often.  Now that this cycle has established itself, I'll try to repeat the past.  Of course I will report on my progress.  I hope last time wasn't a fluke, but 3 years is pretty strong evidence.  Before that, I was episodic for 5 years like a clock.  Thanks everybody, for your warm welcome, and PFD for all...

Can someone enlighten me on the 'shroom' treatment? I should have paid more attention in Drug Ed.  Roll Eyes
