Anyone in San Diego or nearby been to this guy.. www.theheadachemd.com He is, according to the site, a neurosurgeon with over 36 years experience and now specializing in headaches. Also, has anyone been able to get medical leave from work during a cycle?

I haven't heard of this doctor but reading his web site he sounds like he has done some recent study on CH. Everything I read made sense and agreed with what I've learned from the Board. If you do see him, guage how open he is to information you bring him, a doc that'll listen is worth it's weight in gold. My neuro retired about 10 years ago. I've been seeing a nurse practitioner at Kaiser, on Zion, in the neuro dept. (I know all the Kaiser jokes, here they come!!!!) What I love about her is she listens to me, looks at the material I bring her from the board and works with me. Wish I could be of more help, I got lucky and found a preventative, lithium, and abortives, cafergot, imitrex injectors and oxygen, that work great for me. If you try this guy and he's good let us know!! It never hurts to have a back up. Guiseppi

Hey Joe, No jokes here re Kaiser. They just did a heart valve replacement on my Bro and he was able to join us for a family reunion at Thanksgiving (doing fine and looking GOOD). A good time was had by all. It's been said but never more real to me "you don't know what you got til it's gone" Almost there, but not yet, not yet! And John, hope this neuro has got the goods, give him a shot. Will be awaiting your report. Regards, Jon
