How would you rate each remedy?

With so many angles of attack on CH's, it's tricky to assess them against each other. Can you rate each of the following out of 10? I know they'll be different for different people but it'll be interesting to see.

No one will agree as to what is the best overall, only what "works" for them. My hubby has tried 'em all, even had surgery to numb that side, and the beast switched sides anyway. As to your answer:

Oxygen is tricky for many as it must be used right or it's worthless. I suspect some people use it wrong and give up too soon, then I'm sure there are others it just don't work for!!!!! Hope it helps.

Oxygen is always 10 for me personally. I used to use DHE nasal spray and that was about 2 (with nausea from swallowing the crap)! I hope you find your number 10! But it never seems to go away completely...

Immigran tabs, 0; Would take too long, offered no relief for attack.
Immigran jabs, 10; For quick abort but caused recurring and higher frequency of attacks with uncomfortable side effects, stopped using two years ago.
Namigran tabs, N/A; Never used.
Oxygen, 10; Excellent when used at onset of attack, never caused recurrent attacks, no side effects except slightly dry throat which I'm sure would be reduced with use of humidifier/bubbler.
Red Bull, N/A; Never tried for CH.
Coffee, 0; Never noticed relief from. Will try expresso or Cuban coffee with higher caffeine content in future.
Painkillers, 0; Never experienced relief from attack, seemed to escalate pain level.
Cold air or water , 0; Hot rags and hot showers offer me relief.
Added Remedy To List: Alternatives, 10; Provided PF relief and cessation of attacks for up to 4 days while in cycle. After termination of cycle have been 100% successful being PF and cycle-free for 19 months plus. Historical my time between cycles had been 12 - 14 months.

I'm sure O2 works for alot of people. It just won't work for me.

jabs..................n/a >10 hits a day sometimes. Can't take that many jabs. Why bother.
Red Bull is gross!!!
I've tried O2 3 times, but I could never get to it right when a hit started. Maybe 5 minutes or more into it. I didn't hurt while I was on it, but I would pop right back up to half the intensity when I got off the mask. Which is better than no result at all. I'll try to get to it faster next time.(You'd be surprised how long it takes to arm wrestle a patient for their oxygen heehee).
Can't tolerate anything hot when I'm taking a hit, so I've never tried lots of caffeine.
Cold is great. I'll go outside without a jacket when it's 35 and it'll knock it out. I've give cold air a 10++. I think a cold air mask would work just as well for me as a non-rebreather. If my cycle isn't over next week, I'll experiment with that at work and post the results.

O2 works but immediatly rebounds for me once I take it off! Very very sad cause in my profession I can have all the O2 I would ever need!!!!

Added: Alternatives 20 - taking maintenance doses to ward off next cycle completely - so far, working like a charm. Oxygen might have to stay in the closet permanently

Nothing else on the list works
Why is Melatonin not on the list? - this is the only preventer that works almost 100% for me.
