I think my cycle is finally over

My current cycle started July 10. Since it was my first cycle in such a long time I really did not know what to expect. I thought it was over a few weeks ago as I went PF for5 days but then got hit 3 days in a row then PF for another week then got hit 2 days. I have been headache free now for 16 days. I am tapering off of my meds. Right now I am still taking 2x180 verapamil, 1/2 neurontin and 5 mg melatonin. Does Verapamil need to be tapered? I am really ready to get off these meds.

Glad to hear that your getting some PF time. I would think you should taper the Verap down, I would suggest you ask your Doc or Pharmacis for advise. I know that they affect you Blood pressure so best do it properly. Good luck long may you stay PF

Yes Verapamil needs to be tapered.
It took me 15 weeks to taper off of 600mg of it @ 40 mg per week.
Since you are on a lower dose and probably on an extended release by the way you describe your dosing schedule I would talk to your doctor to see how to do it.

I taper off 480 mg in less than 2 weeks.

What chewy said. From 480, you can taper to zip in 1-2 weeks (per my neuro). Said it in a way that left no doubt (suspect if would be a different story for prescribed use of high BP).

Thanks everyone,
I have already tapered from 720 mg to 360 mg of verapamil. From 2400 to 300mg of neurontin and completely off the prednisone. I took too much prednisone for too long and I think I am suffering for that now. every muscle in my body hurts and I am still puffed up like a toad, but I think that will pass just as the CH finally did.
