Keith,
It is not unknown to suddenly wake with a HA that is much stronger than you have been getting, that what usually happens to me.  The feeling of being hot is also quite common, I get it all the time.  You mention you have had strange weather over the past few days, well some people feel that their HA changes during different type of weather.  Some people experience feeling sick, so its not unknown.  Shame your O2 ran out, do you have any other abortive meds? can you get a refill for the O2?  hopefully some more of the troops will be along later with some more useful advise to help you take care.  Here to PF times    Cheers Roy Smiley

Wink Such a wonderful morning hey Keith. Got coffee?
We lived in Montana and I found there, when in an episode being out in the cold was the best. But when going back in the house the heat would hit me and trigger the beast. I used to love the snow banks and just shove my whole head in there for some relief. (not the yellow part) Grin
I dont think the weather changing has any effect although it may seem so. Just happens to be when the beast is in.
all the best and try the fire station for an emergency refill.

two things...

Any fever?

any confusion/paralysis on one side of the body?

If you have a fever it could be menangitis....
call doctor right away...

If you get confusion/paralysis...
could be a stroke....

Otherwise....
it was just a freaky cluster....and I hope it doesn't repeat on you
today...

things is, with cramping and rest of it...
food poisoning is a possiblity....
it can happer within 24 hours of eating something bad,
or even 4-5 days after....one form of food poisoning
takes a while for the bacteria to build up in number to affect you.

if the stomach thing continues, call doc....
think of things you ate recently....

It suckes when you cannot abort the painful things,
but I try to remember to breathe deeper,
inhaling and fully exhaling...to get more oxygen...
sometimes it has no effect, exceptI meditate alot, and it helps me remmeber to calm down.

I hope things settle back to normal...
once I woke a 1am and puked...and with the pain...
oh it was just worst that Chineese water torture....winks.

Hang in there. you will recover soon.

Sounds like you might have picked up a case of influenza on top of your CH.

Hope you feel better soon.

Sorry to hear you had such a bad attack.

I get the sweats and vomiting when my CH is really, really bad.  Its almost like my body cant take the pain and it doesnt know what else to do.

My saving grace is Imitrex shots and O2.

I hope you feel better soon.

You may just have a bug of some sort, but your symptoms sound pretty normal for CH.

I can't stand heat when I'm getting hit (or in a high cycle). In my house visitors wear overcoats and I'm running around in shirt-sleeves.

If you don't have snow - try putting your head in the freezer - it helps. Or get out the frozen peas and use them for an icepack. My left (CH side) sweats really bad when I'm about to get hit.

And I DO think the weather has something to do with it. When the barometer starts going down, I get hit. When it's up above 30.00 I do fairly well, but I can sure tell you when it's going to rain or the weather change drastically. My head feels like someone blew up a balloon in it.

HOpe it's just a 24 hour bug or something simple.

Hugs BD
