I've been doing a lot of testing at the Mayo Clinic last week and this week. Hopefully today is the last day. Tuesday I went in for the treadmill portion of the stress test for my heart. I got off the treadmill and got nailed with a major hit. They scrambled for 02 but by then it was to late. They called my nuero upstairs and from what Kathy said within minutes they brought trex down from the pharmacy and I was able to finish the tests. I was still being hit but I wanted to get through so I didn't have to do the whole thing over. Well yesterday was my day off from testing and I get a call from the Mayo. I was thinkig shit they want me to come in for more tests but no it was one of my nueros there calling to check on how I was doing and to see if I needed anything. I have never in my life had a nuero do that. For him to do it personally and not his secretary really impresed me. Maybe just maybe there are docs left out there who really care.

Definately scared the shit out of them. How often do radiologists see that. The doc also said how badly I shook them up.

Wow, that's awesome Jim. I sometimes wish tho, that we could just channel about 5 seconds worth of the pain we experience, over to them. Not to be mean or anything, but just to get them to understand a little better. Knowwhatimean? mel

Are you there having test related to the CH's? Don't let the doc forget what he saw. Maybe this is the breakthrough that we all have been looking for.I have always said that only if the docs could really see an attack. When my neuro saw mine with an EEG she tried to tell me that I was having seizures. But I knew what it was.

| You know though, after seeing a guy like Jim reacting the way he did to the pain, I'm pretty sure they can imagine if that was happening to them. One picture does paint a thousand (or more) words though.

Bet they don’t think you’re a med seeker now. Some times it takes scarring the crap out of them to get them to pay attention, I got a call from Dodick’s nurse yesterday asking how I was doing and if the new meds where helping me as well. I may have to revise my opinion of the Mayo, they may not want to give me my pain meds but at least they are checking up on me to make sure I am doing better. I would have loved to see the looks on there faces when you had the hit, bet there eyes popped out of there heads. Sorry you had the hit but better in front of them then just telling them about it that’s for sure. Matt

| And you wonder why we supporters continue to hang out here and try to figure out a way to stop this shit? And why we feel so bloody helpless? If only those doctors could walk in our shoes...

Matt, I glad your getting help from them. I'll be there today and i have an appointment next week. I've got one trex inj from the other day. they just pulled it from they're pharmacy along with the injector on the house. they've seen three hits now hopefully the shows over. I was going alone today but after the other day they said Kathy had to be there. guess it left an impression
