for years and years I had the smae ch on my left side then they went out of cycle for 3 1/2 years, now I have been in this cycle for 4 months and they have switched sides....i have never found any relief from the pros at a well known headache clinic in Chicago, except for the o2, and that for the first time has been failing! Anyone have this happen to them?

sorry about changing the subject, but have you checked back with the pain clinic & let them know it is not working this time? I'm sorry you are getting hit and have no relief. That is rough. This beast morphs, and you have to change your game plan. You can read about everything here, in the information presented in the upper left of the screen, and then work with your dr or neurologist for a treatment plan, and hopefully get some relief. Welcome aboard, and good luck to you stlsdn. Charlotte

Check into getting a Clustermasx...it's much better than a non-rebreather mask. It makes a big difference in how the 02 works. A CH sufferer in the UK designed it..and it's great. Sorry you're having a rough go. I sure hope things get better. Jean

Can you contact the dr or clinic by phone or email & talk about the change and get advice or help before being seen or do you have to wait a month for an appointment? A month is way too long to wait. Have something written or typed with all your questions ahead of time. The best time for abortives is as early as possible. Wait too long, you will be riding it out again. Have you changed the point where you use the oxygen? I don't use O2 but I will find some links. There have been many with the cluster mask. Sometimes when it seems different, it is different. That happened to me. If people don't answer for awhile, it is because we haven't checked in yet. I will post the links here in a few minutes. The best link is to the O2 info, right on this site. http://www.maplefallswebdesign.com/misc/oxygen/oxygen.htm http://homepages.nildram.co.uk/~tritech2/clusterx/index.html http://www.clusterheadaches.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=meds;action= display;num=1154723336 Charlotte
