I describe a cluster to my wife like a tornado, everything is calm, sky is blue, sun shining then all of a sudden a tornado blows in fast and quick without realzing it, it is there.
It does incredible damage in a short period of time and then is gone.
I still do not know if she realizes how painful they are but this is how I have explained them to her.

Funny you should say that! I've explained it more like a nuclear blast without the YEARS of after effect......You know, all of a sudden it's a beautiful day, then WHAM! One big mushroom cloud and nothing but devastation, torment and pain. Then, it's all over as quickly as it started.......sometimes.....
