This could be one of the most important things as far as future research goes that we can ever do.
I think we (all Brits) should all write to our local MP's quoting the research at Harvard, if anyone wants a copy of the Neurology paper I can send you one, and explain why we would like all classifications changed as per their criteria in order that research and a potential legal treatment be found.
We could work on a letter here and send everyone copies of the same letter - I don't mind! I just think this is too important an opportunity for ALL research to be missed.

Those who have misgivings based on legality or any other issues can write too, after all if we can get "Mushie-Trex" out of this we're all winners aren't we?

Do you think it would be a good idea to contact our local MP's, make them aware of our condition, & tell them how we are treating ourselves.

Hello Helen,
this is something I sugested back in January of this year, when the CHUK board was up, & running.
No one offered there names for the hat then.
Maybe now it will be different.
Put me down for some of this please.
Good point by the way.

Kev hon I was teasing you, you'll have to work ALOT harder than that to piss me off!  Kiss

Carl I think the difference now is we have something in this parliamentary report that gives us ALOT of leverage. We actually have a government report saying that the drug law is wrong. All we have to do is make damn sure all our local MP's get behind what this means to us. I've typed up a "version" of a letter, I've sent it out to a couple of others who will hopefully polish it up and add anything missed so that we get a really good letter for people to cut and paste and print off after inserting their own MP's name.

At the moment this affects us in the UK.
If we are successful it gives people in the US, Canada and everywhere else that huge bit of leverage to aim at their governments too so ultimately, this will benefit us all.

Nice job Helen.

Show "US" the way...

I suggest some letters to the editor of your local papers too.

Drug laws are overdue for some common sense.

Is it illegal because it's dangerous or is it dangerous because it's illegal? Our drug laws are ruining lives.
