Sorry to hear about your cycle. Since March......OUCH I think weather, especially heat affects me. I am currently into week #8 and I think the hot weather and storms is not letting it go. I have never gone these many weeks. Maybe 6 or so. Good Luck John

The barometer changing gets me. Storms are a biggie. I can tell you when it's going to rain before the weatherman gets around to it and I'm a lot more accurate (between CH and arthritis - I'm OLD you know). A lot of people have noticed changes in their cycles (the episodics). Cycles seem to be lasting longer and are unpredictible this year for some reason. I'm chronic and have been hitting on more "high" cycles than normal. Hugs BD

Never noticed that the weather did much to me one way or the other. Rain or shine, hot or cold, when it's time for them they come. Best, George

Hi! we don't get the extremes of weather that you get, but Hot weather certainly kick me off, even in the winter time I must not get too hot, hence I turn the heating down, the wife turns it up then we reach a compromise. During a hit I always sweat profusely and feel as it I am about ignite, any one else get the hot like that ? Cheers Roy

The hot weather here in the UK the last few weeks has made me worse... went to buy a fan to keep me cool, but all shops I tried were sold out. Typical I like the heat, but the head doesn't so I stay indoors where it's much cooler. Roy... before a bad one, I feel like I'm going to spontaneously combust... like being cooked inside and I give the fridge a long and close examination! Don't like the shock of a cold shower

Odd thing is I can stand in a hot shower and have no pain during an attack, stand out of the water and have pain, move back into the water and have no pain, and so on. Wierd huh?

The heat hasn't affected my headaches. It's sick, but I think it's funny to see other people break out in a sweat. (It wouldn't be funny if they had the pain.) Charlotte
