4th set of cluster, now using oxygen

I'm just starting my 4th group of clusters. I can pretty much count out the rest of this month. The 3 previous clusters I've had were almost exactly 30 days long and 3 years apart. My 3 yrs were up so here I am. During my last cluster the neurologist I was seeing said I wasn't having clusters b/c i was a girl. I hate him. He only wanted to put me on more and more drugs without trying to fix my migraines or clusters. At this same time I saw a wonderful Gynocologist who discovered I had a progesterone imbalance and since I've been on progesterone my migraines have all but disappeared. My neurologist poo-pooed that idea and said i would only end up with more migraines. He was wrong and I fired him. At any rate, here I am 3 years later stairing down the barrel of the cluster gun. I called my primary this morning b/c I'm convinced its starting all over again and he prescribed oxygen. My neurologist wouldn't even let me try...i'm a girl so therefore I don't get clusters, right? I'm eagerly awaiting the call from the medical supply company to deliver my oxygen. Hopefully they can deliver before tonight's headache. The clock is ticking and I only have about 4 hours until the next one hits. Although my headaches aren't as bad as some of the accounts I've read, I certainly understand. I will be debilitated for a month. Fortunately mine come at about 5 pm so I can spend most of the day at work or with my 2 yr old relatively pain free. Best of luck to all of you. We live in a special kind of hell. Anyone else had luck with oxygen?
