No, I hadn't. Thanks. It's always good to see something in print. Charlotte

Hello pappy. How you doing? After reading through the lady's words I'm not convinced she suffers clusters. But she might. Sounds to me like mostly migraines. But, I'm not a doctor nor an accupuncturist. There is a positive side to her letter. It helps bring the words 'cluster headaches' out in the open. The more times it's printed the more the public will realize there is such a thing.

Hey Bob, I thought it might be a good read, lots of links, however it only points out that most think of "Clusters" from an episodic's angle. I only see it from a Chronic's slant, I still think I would hate to have to sit and wonder when, and if my episode would start during any particular time or season. In my world. I know when the next attack is coming, and I don't have to endure any long periods of Pain Free, only to be tormented by the next onset of the cycle! When it never ends your always ready! Lots of changes here, I now live in Augusta, Georgia, Have no Doctor, yet but: on the bright side I own my home outright and I'm out of the Hurricane Zone! We have the Grandkids back after a 10 month Haiatis! I have a new trigger though! The odor of the Paper Mill! Yet the water here is a "lot colder" than it was in Florida, so it seems to abate my attack quicker!! I hate to see so manty new names here, Its (Clusters) either spreading or there are many more informed suffers finding the site! Pappy in the Pine Forest

Hello, again. I am a new name but I'm not new to ch, and I too am chronic at 56 years. I read the article at home, and several things - from episodic point of view- the cycles ramp up and it may not be that her medication stopped working, and I've never had a cool ice pick, and it doesn't feel like sneezing. Other than that, I think she expressed herself very well and the press can't hurt us. It's nice to meet you. Charlotte
