1.  Why did you stop?

2.  Did you have any side effects from stopping?

Thanks, Charlotte

Hi Charlotte.  Smiley
I stopped because, in a delusion of grandeur, after 3 pf days in a row, I thought I broke my 5 year chronic cycle. I was actually in the process of tapering off when it became apparent that it (like every other previous med) had stopped working for me. The post kudzu hits remained much shorter than pre-kudzu hits, but their intensity increased a great deal. This also happened to another chronic, but he took a break and then tried it again. Last time he checked in, he thought that maybe the kudzu was working again. (Where the heck are you, ozzy? I hope you are well.)

For my first three cycles using Kudzu I stopped when I "felt" that the cycle was drawing to a close. It had done a great job and there seemed to be a point when it seemed like stopping was the right thing to do. So I did.

On my most recent cycle I stopped a little earlier as I had an abnormally very active cycle and the Kudzu just didn't seem to be working as well. So, I hunkered in with my O2 and Trex and waited it out. I shouldn't have stopped the Kudzu 00 just impatience on my part.

That is one of the worst parts about finding something that works. I found that I have no tolerance for the pain anyomre at all. Where as I used to "gut out" horrible hits, now if the O2 can't knock it back I'm staring at the Trex system laying there saying, phuk it, I'm taking the shot!.

As far as side effects from stopping. None after the good cycles and none after the most recent one.

They aren't steroids. I didn't ramp down or anything.

I was wondering if there was any type of rebound effect on your heart?

I want to try this my next high cycle and I'm nervous because according to the reading material it's similar to verapamil.  I had a bad experience with verapamil  but in all fairness it was back in the days when Dr.s all overprescribed fiorinal and I was using the fiorinal also, and that may have caused rebound.

Right now, I'm in a low cycle so Im low maintenance.  I asked the new doc for 5 mg paxil, and still using 1/8 or 1/4 Maxalt mlt to reduce that side effect to the memory  after the side hit (temple).

Thanks, Charlotte
