Has anyone found out information to help prevent or cure these headaches? Naturopath, etc. Is there a vitamin or mineral etc, that would help? Certain kind of foods? I have read cardio is good to help reduce the pressure of Glaucoma. Anything similar for cluster headaches?

Katie, I know you are new to the CH.com board. But, please take a few moments to look around at the boards and the links. Much of what you are likely to ask is available on these links including alternative therapies, dietary questions, etc... I know the possibility of finding a diagnosis, or help is exciting, but this resource has a lot of info sitting out there that doesn't require you to start a new thread for each question you have. Take your time, breathe, and click around some and get a lay for the land. This place is a gold mine. Scott

Thank you Scott. I am sorry for jumping the gun. I am not only new to the possibility of this medical issue, but I am brand new to message boards. I will read through the site and all its information. I hope you are having a good day.

There are many, many great preventatives and abortives...that's the good news. the bad news is what works for one of us doesn't work for the others. The most popular abortive seems to be the oxygen. (Also my personal favorite) Unfortunately it's just lots of trial and error until you find a combo that works. DO NOT RELY ON YOUR DOCTOR! Bless their souls, there are a lot of danged good ones out there but after you spend an hour on this site you will know much more then them about cluster head aches. So open your text book...(the links on the left)....and start reading!! I do hope you find some help. When you find what works for you please post about it. It's how we all learn. Good luck. Guiseppi
