anyone have CH and suffer from sinus issues? do they go hand in hand? i've had sinus issues and i just saw my ENT to go over my latest CT scan. i was 100% clear now with sinus problems after 2 surgeries. but i get a congested feeling on one side of my nose and my eye waters, twitches and i get pain in my temple and neck.. all of this comes and goes every so often. he thinks i have CH and is sending me to a neurologist. was wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same thing. also, has anyone checked out www.sinusbuster.com ??? i bought a bottle last night and i'm gonna give it a try. i'm still not 100% certain my sinuses are perfect.

| hmmmmmmmm......where to start? ....... please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the symptoms of CH, maybe by taking the Cluster Quiz (link to the left). You'll notice the symptoms include stuffiness, etc... in the afffected side. As for sinusbuster.....hmmmmmm.....where to start? Take a look at the threads that are in the Medications/Treatments threads and you find a number of them discuss sinusbuster. My personal opinion is that the folks who make and promote it as a cure for CH are bloodsuckers that live amongst the lowest of human beings, preying upon those who suffer from things that they are incapable of understanding and deserve to have their asses kicked for being that way. But that might just be my opinion and something I need to get over. so, suffice it to say, I can't recommend sinusbuster as worth trying for CH. But, again that's just my opinion. good luck with your neuro. Have him focus on treatments and therapies that are proven (see the link on meds). Scott

here's what i read on this board after searching for sinus buster: "Just another suggestion that I recently found: sinusbuster - it is a Capsaicin pepper extract in nasla spray form. Burns a bit and takes some getting used to but it has been amazing. Check it out - sinusbuster.com" why wouldn't i want to try a $15 bottle of nasal spray if it helps? one serious post for some thoughts and suggestions and i get 2 idiot repsonses. pathetic.

| you don't really want to go there. You might actually read on in the threads and see responses of people that have tried it and experience the pain of snorting pepper extract. as for the "idiot comments".....hmmmmm.....where to start...... your reply is so consistent with troll behavior...post #4 and already calling people idiots and pathetic and promoting sinusbuster. but, you already know my opinion of you then, don't you? scott

Good luck! Give it a try, clear your sinuses but find something else for potential CH. I prefer to to give really deviant www......sites instead of that because atleast a major adrenaline rush has a chance to give you a brief reprieve. Let us know how well you are breathing after E

| hey there gcabral, check out your PM's. I've sent a message to you off the public board to try and explain as there has been so much of this lately on the message boards and it really is a distraction to serious conversation about effective remedies and medications. you can respond to me there and keep it off the main boards, or respond in public and keep stirring things up. scott

Ok, Let me try. There are a lot of people out there that look for sites like this that try to scam money from those in misery, just to make a buck. They come in here and basically promote some miricle cure, steal the money, and run. Sinusbuster is one of those. Too many have been burned by them and are defensive when it is brought up. They deserve to be defensive. Do not bad mouth them for what history has taught such a harsh lesson to. Instead, if you really are CH sufferer, then listen to what is said here and learn. If you are truely a sufferer, we can help you. If you are a troll, expect nasty responses to your approches. Dragn

| Yo dragn, I actually haven't personally tried sinusbuster but instead go off the countless times it has been brought up here and legitimate citizens of CH.com have given legitimate feedback citing it as a fraud. That's what is truly great about this forum is that we don't have to ALL have harsh lessons. My feedback to our little sinusbusting troll here was that he doesn't have to have a harsh lesson either. Or he can sniff pepper extract and feel the real pain, on top of a cluster headache, or at best be minorly distracted by the burn of the sinusbuster only to realize that he is emoting tons of snot, tears and feels ill, and still has a cluster. That's not defensive -- if someone ignores that kind of info (previously posted) then to hear it later it becomes a funny horror story worthy of sharing with all of us after. for a good laugh. so enjoy. Just to get back on thread, personally I had lots of issues with Sinuses. Had operations - one surgeon was delighted he got all the infected lining of one sinus out if I remember rightly. So there must have been a problem there???? However after several more CH cycles I was finally diagnosed with CH, so yes they can definitely co-exist. And no to that sinusbuster thing - best not to say what should happen to anyone pushing it as a CH cure. If it is diagnosed as CH use the money on a clustermasx and get O2.

I have both sinus and CH. CH has helped my sinuses a lot by providing complete draining with hits. When I have not had any hits in a while, like this morning, I need to start taking decongestants. This morning I woke with a bad sinus HA that triggered a hit. I know this because now my Ch's are on the opposite side as my sinus problem and this hit was on the sinus side, and would not respond to O2. Trex did finally killed it and sinus meds took care of the sinus HA. I will need to steam to keep from getting any more. Opus/Paul

I've had CH for 30 years but only developed sinus problems in the last 2. Mass. Eye and Ear next week to see a specialist. I doubt they are going to recommend sinusbuster though.

For me, sinus issues and CH seem to be tied together, at least over the past 5 years or so. Typically a sinus infection or the like will kick off my winter episode. Then even after it clears up I am still left in cycle for a few months. Started using a Neti Pot at the suggestion of a few on this board. I like it thus far.

I have been out of cycle for 4 years now but the last few months of this sinus problem had the potential to trigger. They are going to insert draining tubes.

personal recomendation for blocked sinuses - CS gas .... the whole world falls out of your nose and you too can enjoy the longest bogey competition with your friends or fiends..... seriously we used to use it in the forces for simulating chemical warfare training it does reach the parts other gasses cannot reach even through a couple of inches of snot. best solution i have found and hey its only pain all cluster heads can take that girl thingy easy mad from Bath

26 years of these dang head aches, I have a HUGE Italian nose but have never had any sinus problems. I've used oleocapsin (is that spelled right???) spray at work, and can testify to the copious quantities of snot that a nasal passage can emit when exposed to the spray. Although in defense of those selling the spray, none of the people I have ever sprayed compained about a head ache. Could be on to something....... Guiseppi
