I eventually get to a point that I am so sleep deprived and mediacted I become pretty helpless sometimes. The only diffference is, there is no one here to help, so no problem.

I hate to brag, but I have an awesome supporter. She found the web site for me, read up on how to treat me, and does a great job of being near or staying away. Get the spouse to peruse the board a bit. Education is everything. I would say "Go Yankees" to cheer you up but I fear my daughter would dis own me! Guiseppi

My husband and 3 teenage boys do everything! cook, clean, laundry, etc. when I am getting hit. Before my preventative came along I was getting hit 8x day each lasting 2 hours. Plus shadows. UG Plus chronic for several years. I had no preventative that worked for many years. So my family took over runing things. I thank God for them. Even now that I am better the only thing that they make me do is cook and dishes. Not bad!

My wife is a saint. She works tons of hours, tries to help around the house, and she is always thinking of me. Honestly, she does so much I am begining to feel quite worthless and a complete leetch on her. It's awesome to have a great supporter but sucks to feel like you are a massive burden. Anyway, I feel like I have lost all my independence and I have become worthless. My only hope is that I am not chronic and thus will have some PF months to become productive again. Otherwise I think it would be easier to live alone and not be that burden on her.

You've overstayed your welcome since the day we met but it doesn't seem to matter to you. No medications are your master, nothing makes you fret, it's a helpless feeling having nothing I can do

In our house my wife has to take care of everything. I'm to busy working on the hot rod. Let's all sing along.......... "Put another log on the fire. Cook me up some bacon and some beans........."
