Well let me start by saying I hadn't had a beer or any alchohol for that matter in 9 weeks (huge trigger). Anyway the other night I got fed up with just about everything, bought some beer and grabbed my trex. And guess what.........NOTHING!!! I havn't had a hit since!! (3 days ago) I'm not saying I think the beer cured me. I was comming to the end of my cycle anyway, but I'm just so extatic that I've had 3 pf days that I had to rant to someone!! I'm not counting my chickens quite yet because I know how sneaky the beast can be. I'm just sooooooooooooo thankful for the wonderful, beautiful, fantastic pf time I've had. I want to thank you ALL for being around these last few months, for giving your support, and giving me something to read at 2am. I really hope this is it for now!

Glad to hear you're getting a break. Just don't push it on the alcohol - don't want to tempt the nightmare too early and rejuvinate em'. Tom

Well that's a result Gobby. Just that you guys have a strange definition of 'beer'. Budweisser in my humble opinion has more in common with water, shandy and low or non alcohol beers so even where alcohol is a trigger (It's fortunately not for me) you're probably OK with a Bud. Whereas it's a matter of record that Guinness is good for you!

I do not consider myself a drinker, but I do enjoy tipping a few around the hoidays with my family and friends. Unfortunately, over the last twelve years, alls that it has done has launched my winter cycle and then I get to sit back and wrythe in agony while everyone else gets chummy and has a great time for the next twelve weeks. By the time my cycle breaks, the parties over.
