My nose doesn't clog or run during shadows, however, the nostril on the side of the headache clears and I can breathe better than ever. Anyone else have this?

No, when I get what I call "shadows" I get all of the symptoms, clogged, runny nose, droopy red eye, just not the searing poker. Guiseppi

No, but I'm guessing that it's an individual difference. Our sinuses are all kind of crammed together in weird ways, since we don't have a snout, nor do we hold our heads horizontally like proper mammals. We're kind of like pug dogs would be if pug dogs walked around on their hind legs, and you know how they sniffle and snort. So when some of us get the blood vessels swelling in our heads, it squeezes things together in that crammed-together space, and we get clogged and runny. Maybe when your blood vessels swell, it pushes all the equipment AWAY from the nasal passage, and you can breathe more easily. Just speculation. If someone wants to dispute this thought, feel free. I'm not married to it. We're not even dating. Best, George

Ah! The foreigners put on such airs Wearing the tangerine suits And their harlequin eyes. The pain they inspire Draws in harmonica melodies And the feathers of birds Which flame up at their touch. It all comes to light in the sheer Debonair. (Ellen)
