Hi Danny,
Davcon is a weekend meet and greet held in Davenport in January. It started out as a midwest meet and greet, but then grew quite a bit. We commandeer the atrium of a motel and just spend time getting to know each other on a totally informal basis. Some bring along kids, spouses (suggested if you have one), and others come alone. I guarantee you that once you have met another clusterhead you will not be the same. Just knowing someone else who UNDERSTANDS what you deal with, and doesn't flinch when you get hit , but rather tries to get you Oxygen, ice, Trex, whatever you need, or just leaves you alone with out leaving you feeling left out is priceless.
We call it Davcon, but it is not like the OUCH convention in that it is not structured in any way. Warning: It is highly addictive! Once you attend one youwill be in withdrawal until you can make the next one. Go to the Meetings and Get togethers page to see more about it. (Pics included)
