3-foot's intro

Hello, Well it seems I've found the right place. I was diagnosed with CH 7 years ago. I thought the neurologist was joking. Me..."Cluster headache, what's that mean?" Him..." It means you get headaches in groups or clusters, and then eventually they stop", A master of the obvious. He gave me a prescription for neoproxium sodium, yeah Alieve, thanks a lot. My GP at least gave me Imitrex tabs. Although these may or may not have helped end the episode, it sure didn't stop the pain once it started. That was 2000; I've since had 4-5 episodes and was pain free for the last 3 years. Until 2 weeks ago. This time it's on the left side. I've been suffering an average of 2 a day, getting steadily worse as the episode drags on. Yesterday was the worst. 4 in 24 hours. 11pm, 7am, 3pm, 11pm. Each worse than the one before it. Since last night's 8-9 I've been hovering in the 2-3 range, just waiting for the next one to hit. I know it's coming soon. I've been reading on this site and others about treatments. In the 3 years since my last episode I have changed my diet and lifestyle to the point that I am very against taking prescription and non-prescription medication. I want a holistic/natural solution if I can find it. I say that now, when the next one hits I'm sure I'll do anything to stop the pain. In the mean time I am interested in the oxygen solution but I am curious if anyone has tried taking hydrogen peroxide as supplement their diet? I am thinking about trying this as a possible solution. Here’s a link that talks about what H2O2 can do..... http://educate-yourself.org/cancer/benefitsofhydrogenperozide17jul03.sht ml Has anyone tried this with successful results? Thanks, Jeff

I have not tried that, nor have I heard of anyone that has, but I am old and senile, so maybe it has been discussed. I STRONGLY recommend oxygen!! It is a life saver for many of us! There is all the information you need on the "oxygen info" tab on the left side of your screen. A natural/holistic treatment to look into is kudzu. There are several threads about it, in the medications section. There is a TREMENDOUS amount of information on this site, so pull up a chair, and a LARGE pot of coffee (which in itself helps) and read, read, read ... Welcome to your new home! Chuck
